Metro Detroit weather: Heat Advisory as storms loom
Itโs double trouble for Metro Detroit on this Wednesday. Happy Hump Day! The best part of our day will be the morning hours, the best and safest for any kind of working out or working outside. Temperatures are in the middle 60s to near 70 degrees as you hit the road with dry conditions throughout the morning across SE Lower Michigan and Southern Ontario. Now, itโs time to talk about that trouble coming our way.
Metro Detroit weather: Dangerous temps take off after the storms
We are tracking the end of the showers and storms after some soakers rolled through Metro Detroit late Monday and early this morning. Storm Tracker 4 Radar is showing Tuesday morning showers racing east through Ontario as the tail end of this storm system.ย The roads are still wet and slippery very early on for those heading out even if it is not currently raining as you head out. Temperatures are in the low to middle 60s with expectations of a nice warm up throughout the day today. Radar shows that we are drying out but we cannot rule out some spotty spit and drizzle leaking from the cloud deck that has remained in the wake of the showers and storms.
Metro Detroit weather: Scattered afternoon and evening thunderstorms in the forecast
Most of us didnโt get any rain on Saturday, but a cluster of evening storms moving east from the Saginaw area raked the thumb with strong wind gusts and torrential downpours. Fortunately, we are starting our Sunday on a much quieter note.

Meteorological summer has just begun and it will feel like we are in the middle of the hottest season of the year. The sun will be blazing and temperatures are going to soar. After a warm and mostly clear night, it will be hot again, tomorrow. The heat continues into next week, and weโll have a heat wave if we get three 90-degree days in a row.
