Think youโre ready for an Easter bunny of your own?
Easter is coming up, which means itโs time to remind everyone that a bunny, duck or chick may make for a cute gift on Easter morning, but buying live animals can be a huge, years-long commitment. Itโs important to do your research before buying any pet, but if youโre serious about bringing home a โspringtimeโ animal, here are a couple of tips from Michigan Humaneโs Anna Chrisman:Make sure to research your pet first. A rabbit can live for more than a decade, and if youโre not ready to give your love and attention to one for that long, maybe it isnโt the pet for you. So youโll need to do some research and make sure there is a vet nearby who can take care of your new pet. This isnโt to say you shouldnโt adopt pets in need, and if youโre serious about making a commitment to a rabbit, Chrisman has the pet for you.
The pet holiday that can benefit your animal's health
Anna Chrisman from Michigan Humane joined โLive in the Dโ to celebrate this unlikely holiday that could be extremely beneficial to your petโs health. Pet owners can also visit Michigan Humane veterinary centers, which offer spay and neuter services. As always, the Mike Morse Law Firm will cover standard adoption fees for the lucky family that adopts Chance.
