Shahin has served in that department for some 24 years, serving as commander for the last nine. Shahin will be replacing current Chief Ronald Haddad. Hammoud, Shahin and other appointees, and a new Council will begin serving the city beginning January.

Upon arrival, it was discovered that the 44-year-old female owner of the vehicle was trapped inside and had succumbed to her injuries. The two women screamed at the man and he fled the bathroom into the mall area. This type of behavior that victimizes women in our community is totally unacceptable, said Dearborn Police Chief Ronald Haddad.
