Metro Detroit weather: Warming week with 80s in sight
Good Monday morning!ย We do have a bit of cloud cover over Metro Detroit but no rain in the area with temperatures in the upper 40s to low 50s as you head out and about. What a Motherโs Day Weekend! We had nothing but sunshine and mid to upper 60s although some of your carmometers may have been reading 70 degrees both days. The clouds that rolled in overnight are from showers well off to our west and wonโt be a factor in our forecast today. We should see a beautiful sunrise as the sun battles through these clouds as the clouds begin to fade away making for a magnificent Monday.
Metro Detroit weather: Waiting for wintry weather before we warm
We have had some scattered rain and snow showers here in Metro Detroit overnight and the roads are a little bit slippery in spots as temperatures slowly drop from the mid to lower 30s near freezing as you head out and about. There is also a breeze that will be picking up keeping wind chills in the 20s making it another day for the winter coat, hats, and gloves if you plan on spending any time outdoors catching a bus or walking the dogโฆ bundle up! A few spotty rain and snow showers are still moving through Metro Detroit this morning which will make for some slick spots on the roads in those spots that see a little wintry weather. These mainly snow showers will be hit or miss as you hit the roads.
Metro Detroit weather: Brighter, autumn-like Sunday afternoon
High pressure settles in this afternoon, tonight and for the next few days. This means skies get brighter and daytime temperatures rise higher. The afternoon will be seasonable. After a chilly night, it becomes warmer tomorrow through mid-week. Showers and cooler conditions come back afterward.
Metro Detroit weather: Rain remains Thursday night, Friday and even part of this weekend
A second round of rain has arrived tonight for Detroit and Southeast Michigan. This is the second of multiple occasions of showers for the day to day and a half. Showers and thunderstorms are possible tomorrow. Although the threat of severe weather has shifted away from the region, nasty weather is still possible. Once it becomes drier, it becomes cooler this weekend. Then it gets milder, again, by the middle of next week.

Tonight will be mild with temperatures closer to our average highs rather than our average lows for this time or year. Tomorrow will feel more like August than October. Showers and storms return tomorrow night, and some may be nasty. It remains warmer than average most of this week. More fall-like weather will be reserved for the end of this week.

Showers are becoming more scattered and leave by early afternoon. Once a warm front passes it becomes warmer later in the afternoon with brighter conditions. Tonight will be mild and dry. Tomorrow will be even warmer.

We start with murky and mild conditions again. Ahead of a warm front, showers arrive for the morning and middle of the day. We will not have a washout because the damp weather passes and brighter, much warmer conditions arrive. It will feel like late spring today and summer tomorrow.

As the fog dissipates, temperatures rise and skies brighten. There remains a chance of wet weather later today, but it will not be a washout. It will be cool to mild overnight. A warm front brings showers for the first half of tomorrow and even higher temperatures for the second half and Monday.

Showers and storms are possible again Saturday. They will be more widely scattered and less frequent than yesterday or earlier this week. Weโll experience more sunshine and warmer than average weather is here to stay for the holiday weekend.

The gray days of autumn continue with lingering low-hanging clouds, some fog and mist with scattered showers returning. Despite cloudiness, temperatures will be above average. As it remains warm, more rain is expected Friday, but some sunshine returns this weekend.

Fall 2021 weather does not disappoint on its first weekend, or at least the second half of it. We have fantastic football weather, fitting for an NFL game today. Four planets will be visible in the nighttime sky, tonight. Even warmer weather is on the way tomorrow as a good stretch of sunshine arrives.

It is a brand new day and month. There will be some showers today, but also periods of dryness as well. With all the cloud cover it will be cooler than average. The rain leaves by this evening and tonight as it gets cooler. Warmer, more summer like weather returns tomorrow and all of this week.

Dew point temperatures are dropping, which means humidity is dropping and comfort is rising. It will be warm and pleasant this afternoon with a northerly breeze bringing drier air. Showers return late tonight and tomorrow morning. On and off showers are possible tomorrow, but sunshine returns mid week. Warmer just before and during Juneteenth.

Feels like summer, again, today with a slight chance of some showers. After a warm night, the better chance of wet and stormy weather with higher humidity exists tomorrow. Although not a guarantee, thereโs a chance of some severe thunderstorms. A respite from the high heat will be, Monday. Then it gets hotter again, the middle of next week.
