ANN ARBOR, MI – Police are investigating a brazen armed robbery that occurred in the middle of the day in downtown Ann Arbor Monday afternoon. Police were called shortly after 2:55 p.m. Monday, Oct. 10, to the T-Mobile store located at 200 E. Washington Street in downtown Ann Arbor for a reported armed robbery that had just occurred, according to the Ann Arbor Police Department. Employees, backed by store surveillance footage, reported a man walked into the store, pulled out a handgun and order the employees to fill is backpack with cell phones and cash, police said. The man was last seen fleeing the store wearing a black hoodie, blue Nike shorts and a facemask, police said. Man charged in armed robbery of lottery tickets in Kalamazoo County
A man was arrested and charged after police investigated an armed robbery of lottery tickets from a Richland gas station, the Kalamazoo County Sheriff’s Office reports. The armed robbery was reported at 3:40 a.m. Friday, July 22, at the Circle K store, 8205 N. 32nd St. in the village of Richland, Kalamazoo County sheriff’s deputies said. The Kalamazoo County Sheriff’s Office conducted an investigation and identified the suspect as 31-year-old Michael Anthony Guarisco II. He was arraigned Monday, July 25, in Kalamazoo County District Court on charges of armed robbery and assault with a dangerous weapon. Ypsilanti worker tied up, strangled, beaten during robbery schemed up by 2 men, woman, police say
A woman and two men were involved in a plan to ask a worker inside an Ypsilanti cellphone store several questions before tying him up, strangling him with a rope and beating him bloody, officials said. They then stole several items and fled to an apartment 1,000 feet away, according to authorities.

Man faces charges after bank robbery, crash on US-23 in Ann Arbor during police chase
ANN ARBOR – Ken Kenyatta Wilson was charged on Friday with a slew of felonies by the Washtenaw County Prosecutor’s Office. Wilson fled police officers on Tuesday afternoon after robbing the Chase Bank at 4101 E. Ellsworth Road in Pittsfield Township, leading to a chase when the suspect crashed his vehicle in the area of US-23 and Washtenaw Ave. Wilson was transported to St. Joseph Mercy Ann Arbor hospital with serious injuries, but was reported to be in stable condition. Police: Armed man got in driver’s SUV at Pontiac stop sign, forced him to open beer, took vehicle
PONTIAC, Mich. – An armed man got inside a driver’s SUV at a stop sign in Pontiac, forced him to drive to another location to open a can of beer and then stole his vehicle, according to police. Oakland County deputies said a 48-year-old Pontiac man stoped at a sign sign at East Rundell Street and North Glenwood Avenue at 8:51 p.m. Monday (Feb. 22). When they arrived, the driver parked the Expedition and the armed man grabbed a can of beer, officials said. The armed man fled the scene in the vehicle, according to police. Officials said the armed man was in his 30s and about 5 feet, 8 inches tall with a thin build and dreadlock-style hair with blonde tips.

Teens charged with 1st degree murder in death of Uber driver in Detroit
DETROIT – Two Detroit teenagers have been charged as adults with first-degree murder after an Uber driver was found in an alley with fatal injuries from a hammer and knife attack, officials said. DETROIT – Two Detroit teenagers have been charged with first-degree murder after an Uber driver was found in an alley with fatal injuries from a hammer and knife attack, officials said. Devin Delon McKee, 16, and Lanyah Quan Brady, 15, both of Detroit, are accused of killing Timothy Marcus Perkins, a 60-year-old Uber driver from Southfield, according to authorities. Detroit investigators recovered Perkins’ stolen car and identified McKee and Brady as suspects in the case, police said. Officials accuse McKee and Brady of calling for an Uber driver for the purpose of robbing him. When they were inside Perkins’ car, McKee robbed and carjacked him by attacking him with a hammer and stabbing him with a knife, according to authorities.

2 critically injured in attempted robbery in Detroit, victim lured by dating app
DETROIT – Police are investigating a double-shooting Saturday night on Detroit’s west side. It happened at about 9:30 p.m., near the intersection of Woodside Street and Northfield Street, just east of Livernois Avenue. According to authorities, a 57-year-old man met a woman on an online dating website and arranged to meet at her apartment. Police said when the man arrived, the woman was waiting with her 18-year-old boyfriend, who was armed and attempted to rob the man. The 57-year-old man was a CPL holder.

Ann Arbor teen charged with murder after turning himself in, second suspect at large
SOUTH LYON, Mich. – Fadi Zeineh, 19, of Ann Arbor has been charged with 10 offenses in the shooting death of 17-year-old Dylan Stamper of South Lyon. The boy’s father, Kevin Stamper, 43, remains in critical condition in the hospital. According to police, a woman called 911 around 9 p.m. to report a break-in and that shots had been fired. Zeineh was arrested after he turned himself in to the Ann Arbor Police Department on Friday morning. Investigators are now in search of a second suspect who was allegedly with Zeineh at the time of the shooting.
Monroe County hit-and-run, armed robbery suspect arrested after police pursuit into Toledo
TOLEDO – The Monroe County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a string of crimes after a two-state police pursuit Saturday night. Just after 5 p.m., a Monroe County Sheriff’s deputy in Lambertville, just north of Toledo, was informed by a citizen of a damaged black Impala parked at a Rite Aid Pharmacy located near the intersection of Secor and Sterns roads. Deputies pursued the suspect southbound into Toledo, where they turned the pursuit over to the Toledo Police Department, who took the man into custody. He is currently lodged at the Lucas County Jail, pending extradition to Michigan for face charges of armed robbery, felonious assault and more. ANN ARBOR, Mich. – The Ann Arbor Police Department is searching for an armed man who robbed a party store on Main Street Tuesday morning. Around 10:40 a.m., an unknown man walked into the Main Street Party Store at 201 N. Main St and demanded cash after producing a knife, according to police. After receiving an undisclosed amount of cash, the man fled the party store in a gray Chevrolet HHR heading west on Miller Avenue. The robbery suspect is described as a 6-foot to 6-foot 3-inch tall, white man between 30 to 35 years old. Dollar Tree employees threatened in Royal Oak Charter Township armed robbery
ROYAL OAK CHARTER TOWNSHIP, Mich. – Police are investigating a Dollar Tree store armed robbery that took place on Friday at around 9 p.m. in Royal Oak Charter Township. According to witnesses, a black man wearing a hoodie and face mask was in the store making cash purchases before the robbery. The robber returned after all the customers left. He pulled out a gun and threatened to shoot two employees for money from the register. Police say the robber left the store on foot and no one was injured.
Masked gunman robs Midland Dollar General
MIDLAND, MI — Police are investigating the armed robbery of a Midland dollar store. At 8:13 p.m. on Wednesday, Nov. 11, Midland police officers responded to a reported armed robbery in progress at the Dollar General at 3939 Isabella St. The building had been secured and the suspect had fled prior to officers' arrival. He was wearing a dark hooded sweatshirt, black gloves, and a black mask covering the lower half of his face, police said.
