PONTIAC, Mich. โ An armed man got inside a driverโs SUV at a stop sign in Pontiac, forced him to drive to another location to open a can of beer and then stole his vehicle, according to police. Oakland County deputies said a 48-year-old Pontiac man stoped at a sign sign at East Rundell Street and North Glenwood Avenue at 8:51 p.m. Monday (Feb. 22). When they arrived, the driver parked the Expedition and the armed man grabbed a can of beer, officials said. The armed man fled the scene in the vehicle, according to police. Officials said the armed man was in his 30s and about 5 feet, 8 inches tall with a thin build and dreadlock-style hair with blonde tips.

DETROIT โ Police are looking for two men accused of stealing a womanโs vehicle at gunpoint on Detroitโs west side Friday night. Police say at about 11:40 p.m. on Feb. 12, a 27-year-old woman was near a gas pump at gas station in the 15300 block of Wyoming Avenue when an armed suspect exited an unknown vehicle and walked over to her. The suspect, described as a Black man wearing dark clothing and a black surgical mask, announced a hold up and took the womanโs cell phone. Officials say the man then entered the womanโs red 2011 Ford Taurus and drove away. The second suspect, who was only described as a man, also fled the scene in the other, unknown vehicle.

DETROIT โ Two Detroit teenagers have been charged with first-degree murder after an Uber driver was found in an alley with fatal injuries from a hammer and knife attack, officials said. Devin Delon McKee, 16, and Lanyah Quan Brady, 15, both of Detroit, are accused of killing Timothy Marcus Perkins, a 60-year-old Uber driver from Southfield, according to authorities. Detroit investigators recovered Perkinsโ stolen car and identified McKee and Brady as suspects in the case, police said. Officials accuse McKee and Brady of calling for an Uber driver for the purpose of robbing him. When they were inside Perkinsโ car, McKee robbed and carjacked him by attacking him with a hammer and stabbing him with a knife, according to authorities.

Derek Hill, 52, said he pulled over to help when he saw a woman stranded in a Roseville Del Taco parking lot on Tuesday. It was around 1:30 a.m. when Hill saw a car broken down on Gratiot Avenue at Masonic in Roseville. He said he motioned the person motioned for Hill to roll down his window and thatโs when he was punched. 71-year-old man beaten, carjacked in Detroit after saving for 3 years to buy used truck

Standing on his one good leg he was able to maneuver into the truck and put his walker in the back. 2 arrested in Somerset Mall carjacking
TROY, Mich. โ Two people are in police custody after allegedly hijacking a vehicle outside of Somerset Mall on Thursday morning. Police say at about 7:30 a.m. two males were approached by four people in a silver Nissan when exiting the mall. Two suspects took the victimsโ 2016 black Dodge Charger and fled the scene while the other two suspects fled the scene in the Nissan. A black 2016 Dodge Charger was hijacked from two people at Somerset Mall on the morning of July 23, 2020. The two suspects from Tennessee are being housed at the Jackson County Jail and are expected to be arraigned soon.

According to authorities, it happened at about 3:30 a.m. at a gas station in the 11800 block of Conner Street. Police said a three people approached a 20-year-old man who was pumping gas and demanded his 2011 Dodge Charger at gunpoint. Police said one suspect entered the Dodge and drove south on Conner Street and the other two suspects followed in a 2017 silver Chevrolet Impala. One of the suspect entered the victimโs vehicle and fled south on Conner with the remaining two suspects following in a silver 2017 Chevy Impala.

According to authorities, just before 6 a.m., a 25-year-old man was physically assaulted by two unknown people at a gas station in the 8800 block of Livernois Avenue. Police describe one of the suspects as a Black man, 6 feet, 3 inches tall and weighing about 240 pounds. Police described the other suspect as a Black man, 6 feet tall and having a medium build. Detroit man charged after police say he assaulted his then girlfriend, kidnapped her 5-year-old daughter
DETROIT โ A Detroit man has been charged in connection with an assault and kidnapping incident. Diamond Williams, 28, has been charged with kidnapping, carjacking, resisting and obstructing the police, and domestic violence assault and battery. Williamโs 27-year-old-girlfriend and her 5-year-old daughter are the victims in the case, both are from Detroit. Detroit woman beaten by rock-wielding man who used to shovel her snow, police say
DETROIT โ A 72-year-old Detroit woman was beaten with a rock by a man who knew her from shoveling her snow, police said. Lacey knew the woman because he had shoveled her snow in the past, officials said. When officers arrived, they found a bloody scene and transported the woman to a nearby hospital for treatment. Lacey was charged Saturday with carjacking, assault with intent to murder, unlawful driving away of a motor vehicle, receiving and concealing a stolen motor vehicle and third-degree fleeing and eluding police. A probable cause conference is scheduled for Feb. 19, and a preliminary examination is scheduled for Feb. 26.

Man in custody after carjacking woman, crashing into Royal Oak home
ROYAL OAK, Mich. โ Police said a 29-year-old man is in custody after carjacking a woman at a Mobil gas station in Royal Oak. Officers responded to a 911 call of a carjacking Thursday at 9:20 p.m. outside the gas station at 31001 Woodward Avenue. The caller reported that a man stole a red Honda CRV from a woman along with her cellphone at the gas station and fled the scene. The clerk said a man was inside the store who said he had been assaulted by an unknown subject. Officers responded and discovered man was the suspect from the carjacking incident.
